Clare's St. Patty 5K

This year FI will be representing again at Clare's St. Patty's 5K! This is not a FI event, but the St. Patty's Boot Camp program will more than get you prepared! Although any FI program will have you ready to do your first 5K, or improve your time if you have done a 5K in the past!

Early Registration/Early Packet Pick-Up= Friday, March 16th, 2012 from 6-8 at Doherty Hotel indoor pool area. Day of Registration/Packet Pick-Up will take place from 7:30am-8:45am at indoor pool area of Doherty Hotel of Clare. Registration will end at 8:45am on morning of race to ensure a 9:00am start for all races.

Drop 10 with a Friend:
kick off: March 5th 5:30pm FI graffiti studio (includes workout 6-7pm)
finale workout: March 15th 5:30pm FI graffiti studio

We want to help YOU get fit and feel great in time for Spring Break. Find a buddy, lose ten pounds together, and win prizes.

Includes: healthy snacks, 10 days of Shakeology, a live kickoff and finale workouts at the FI graffiti studio, and prizes to all buddies who lose 10 pounds!

Cost: $60 per person. Limited to the first 30 registrants.

March FI Programs!

March programs are going to start on Monday March 5th... they are all express programs this month:

*March Madness (4 teams measured on attendance, Results (%), and performance) limited space available. let's see who gets their name on the trophy this year! teams are always: CMU, MSU, U of M, & Notre Dame (I think that's the last one...ND hasn't made the trophy so if u want to pick another team we may be able to be influenced.

*St. Patty's Sprint (means short) FI Boot Camp: March 5th-ending w/optional St. Patty's fun/walk run 5k in Claire on March 17th ;)

*Drop 10 with a friend 10 day challenge: March 5th- 15th

****February Catch Spring Fever Boot Camp*****
Back by popular demand, this ALL Indoor boot camp will keep you moving even in the coldest temperatures!

General AM Schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
5:15-6:30AM
*Plus 1 Saturday @7AM
Feb. 1-24

*Results Party is Friday, February 24th


*****February FI Row Teams*****

*Limited space available of 5 teams of 5 people.

*First come, first serve (sign up solo or w/your team).

*Whether you are an AM or PM person--this is for you! Options for both AM, PM and even lunch time slots if there is a need/want. Plus All-Rows!

*Feb. 1-24th

*Timeslots include Thursday February 2, 9, 16, 23 at:
5:15am, 6am,
4:45pm, 5:30pm
Tuesdays at noon

*Plus 1 Saturday 6:15-7:00AM (Saturday, Feb. 4, 11, 18)

Everyone put on their calendar:
*Pre-testing: Wednesday February 1st 5:15AM
*Sunday February 5 All-Row 2:00pm
*Sunday February 12 All-Row 2:00pm
*Sunday February 19 All-Row 2:00pm
*Post-testing: Friday, February 24th @5:15AM

Team with the most meters rowed and the greatest percentage loss WINS. Tie-breakers include 2-min test and attendance.

Will you join me in 2012 with these 3 things? I hope so!

1. Have set, manageable, written/typed goals that are SMART.
2. Always have a carrot (little or big, near or far (within 6 mos tho)) to keep me motivated.
3. Follow a plan that is proven, makes sense, and is consistent with your priorities and ethics.
