Alrighty, I have been wanting to share more lessons I am still walking through for a while now. My hope is that they may help people, and I don't want to forget myself and have to re-learn these lessons on repeat like some 51st dates movie turned psychological thriller!
Here are some lessons I am learning, with my most recent surgery to remove a mass in my abdomen. With my cancer history, this is always a very scary thing. I don't want to stay down, when life hits with this kind of force, but I do want to pause, learn, and here I am sharing the experience during the thick of it. When I am still trying to overcome the challenges. I want to come out of this with better purpose and perspective. I hope by being vulnerable (also scary for me) and sharing, you or one of your friends can learn the lessons without physically going through the same challenges/pain/struggles. Most of us have routines. Every day we wake up, brush our teeth, get ready for work, drive to work, I could keep on going but you get the picture.
