This one begins out of the mouth of this Fitness Inspirer “When the alarm goes off at 5:00 AM and I don’t want to get out of bed I remind myself how much better my day will be if I just show up. Moving my body and crossing something important off of my to do list before 6:30 AM has been huge for me."
"I more patient with my kids when I wake up and work out. I am generally happier and less anxious. I have had fewer tension headaches and less upper back pain ever since I started at FI. At this stage of life, there are very few opportunities to do things by myself or just for me, and I am glad for this addition to my life. This is one of the reasons that I have missed only five classes since I started – this is something that I need and crave each day. I also love the fact that we have goals to work toward each month. This is something that keeps me very motivated and I love that I have been able to shift my focus to non-scale victories.”
Nicole has been attending FI 6 times a week for 7 months. This is her longest “work out streak” that she has had in adulthood. Her mindset has shifted and improved dramatically. She used to think that in order to be healthy and lose weight she had to do everything perfectly. The problem for her was that perfect was no fun, and perfect surely is not sustainable. I would eat food that I hated and do exercise that I hated and be miserable for a few days and then I would inevitably go back to my bad habits. But now, she has made lasting changes and she is happy while making these changes. I wake up every day and move my body. I eat my vegetables first at every meal, even breakfast. And her transformation is from the inside-out—her heart rate, blood pressure, and cholesterol has all improved. After her first month of Fitness Inspired she was able to jog again. She is gets stronger physically and mentally each month in FI. She has lost and kept off 33 lbs, shrunk her waistline by over 6 inches, and is down a total of 23 inches between her chest and hips!!
Nicole always shows up with determination, strength, and kindness no matter what the workout is. She is the kind of person who makes you better by being around her.
