Duh Duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh......Yes that is the Rocky theme in my head, and I am sure it played exactly the right way in your head too. If we are hearing some Eye of the Tiger on repeat, and racing up some flights of stairs, you know what that means! ROCKY MONTH! The days are getting longer, and our energy levels, accountability, and competitive natures have all been kicked up a notch! Rocky is always a favorite program because it puts us all into teams, which really puts our accountability into another gear as we do not want to let our teammates down. Our teams lift each other up and help push us to new levels we didn't think we could get to. This month, we were represented by the Shadow Masters, Bubble Gum Brigade, Sunshine Stars, Blue Squad, and the Lucky Charms, and we had some great workouts! Let's see what happened Adrian... Hitting that Route 66 We knew it was coming! 2021 is still young but we had some drivers itching to merge on to Route 66 and April showed us that! This month we had 5 new Inspirers speeding on to Route 66 so give it up for Cindy E, Terri H, Jim H, Leanne F and Beth S! Just like Rocky, they are going the distance! Eat lightning and get a prong! Ok Rock, I see you! Mickie was a great hype man and we had some people get hyped this month with the amount of workouts we got in! This month, we had five people get their prongs for their FI crown! Let's give some fist pumps in the air for Leanne F, Jim H, Terri H, Becky C and Cindy E! Rising up to the Challenge of our Rival! The return of Rocky this month was a much loved jolt of energy. Inspirers were definitely flexing their showing up muscles and pushing their limits to new heights. However, one of the best things that was shared this month was the communication and accountability amongst teammates. I loved hearing the story of the Shadow Masters who organized a team workout on a non-live workout day. It was also great to read people's responses during their post tests giving their teammates shout outs for supporting eachother and pushing one another Loved hearing stories like that!
Rocky homework was no joke this month! I will never look at a basketball/volleyball/medicine ball the same way again. Bridges on the ball definitely made us incredibly sore the first time we did them, but practicing them each day really helped us get stronger and post test well! Rocky abs have their name for a reason as the originated from this program and adding the ball to the equation made it just that much more of a challenge. Finally, don't even get me started on the Rocky pushups as those bad boys are still making my upper body groan... Let's see what happened To crown a winner this month, we based it on three categories, team average attendance (which was based on goals everyone set for the weekly workout totals), team average inch % improvement, and team average physical testing % improvement. -As a team, the Shadow Masters improved their hour glass measurements (weight, chest, true waist, waist at belly buttton and hips) by a combined 29.51%! -As a team, the Sunshine Stars improved their physical testing by 614%! -The Blue Squad had Leanne F record a month leading 22 workouts! -The Bubble Gum Brigade improved their physical testing by a combined 436%! But there can only be one winner, and our overall Rocky Program team winner was.......THE SUNSHINE STARS!!! Congrats to Jim and Terri H, Cindy E and Meg McG!

You Rock!
Thank you for lifting each other up and cheering each other on every step of the way! I am so proud of the progress I see in you from month to month. I hope the progress in mindset, physical challenges, adherence, and measurements motivates you as it does me. Archives
