It was BRAVE month in Boot Camp!

It was great to focus on being BRAVE this month in our movement, our nourishment, and rest too!

As you enjoy your Halloween and reflect on what went well and what you might choose to take with you into November, maybe you want to think about what scares you in an inspiring, healthy, brave way? I was just inspired to brainstorm a list of the top 10 things I would love to see happen in the next 1,000 days. It was a really cool exercise and something I think could open your eyes to what you can't even believe you are capable yet...(If you are reading this and you are a current coaching client of mine, let's put a session where we explore your list at an upcoming session before the new year. )

Before we close out the month and look ahead to our goals, commitments, ways of being to close out this year (November Boot Camp theme is the incredible Happy. Thanks. Giving. theme that will leave you transformed in your mindset AND moving better and December is the awesome 12 days of Fitness program), let's celebrate our boot camp group this month!!

As a group we crushed our movement commitment-- key stone habit baby!!!

I love the specificity we all owned for naming what our brave movement, brave nourishment, brave rest goals and commitment would be.

I'm currently getting curious about creating FI programming, tools, coaching around how we can continue to feel empowered and experience growth in incredible SLEEP (quality and quantity).

I also want to acknowledge and celebrate the VISIBLE shifts of this group in strength, form, capability to do new movements better, and support for each other (You are STARS!)!

I am excited to continue to build off this month and finish this year strong. This will allow you to have a strong foundation to launch into 2026 thriving and feeling better than you ever thought capable of because of your humility and strength to show up and get the support that your future self will be PROUD of your current self for!!

November we have some missed Boot campers coming back after working through surgeries and set backs to do the FI recovery plan and I know they will end up stronger than ever!

Celebrating the Foundations that will ROCK your health & fitness

We were working on the pillars of health in tangible ways this past month in Fitness Inspired Boot Camp program. Will you celebrate the September FI boot campers with me? including yourself too? 

One of the pillars FI boot campers showed up for and rocked is Movement! Two examples of this that they showed up well for are:
  • "I am committed to 45 minutes of intentional exercise each day. It will feel so good to do this!" -FI Boot Camp program includes 3 live interactive (45 min.) workouts a week for 4 weeks in a row, as well as a FI workout library that helps boot campers achieve their movement goals even if they are different from this example.
  • "I am committed to 15-30 minutes of exercise each day." So when there aren't live workouts on a given day we have tools, momentum generating tracking and accountability to help Boot Campers hit this goal by doing their strength and/or mobility homework and walking or logging a FI workout library workout with an accountability buddy or solo.
Another of the pillars that Boot campers showed up for with 2 specific examples is Nourishment:
  • "Eating 4 servings of vegetables each day." Which we have learned can assist with gut health, improving feeling more full with the fibers, and it just happens to be ONE of the magic 11 FI food framework boot campers can choose to commit and be accountable to.
  • "Committing to having my snacks be fresh veggies or fruit 2 or more per day." This is a great example of having it fit into your lifestyle and celebrating the process goals throughout the month and this person also celebrated some great results/outcomes this month as well.
Quality Rest & Recovery is so important for our overall health and is the 3rd of our pillars we focused on this past month. Here are two examples from this month's boot campers:
  • "No screen time after getting into bed"
  • "Being in bed & ready to sleep by ____pm"
Before highlighting some outcome wins and results from this month...Let's remember that knowing or wanting to improve on one or all 3 of these pillars in your own life...knowing is one thing and doing is a whole different ball-game. Right? I want to invite you into more support if that feels like the next step for. you (with me: personal coaching/training or group environment [boot camp or wellness programs] or some other type of support that works for you). The next step is to reach out and we can allocate some time to talk through where you're at with your goals and challenges.
Now, here's to some of YOUR Fitness Inspired Boot Camp Results from this month:
  • Celebrating straight A's with planking for 1 minute with great form and doing 11 consecutive military pushups!
  • "I do have time rest! Thing can wait!"
  • "I walked after lunch and dinner several times a week." <- awesome process win there!
  • "100% attendance of FI workouts!"
More tangible results Boot Campers achieved this month:
  • "my mood and sense of taking care of myself"
  • lost 1/12 inches from waistline this month.
  • down 2 lbs and 1 inch around waist
  • several people going from B's to A's on planks and pushups
  • down 2 lbs and 3/4 inch from waist
I always love reading and hearing reflections, insights, and wins from the week and the month in both 1-on-1 coaching/training sessions and during the rest sets and cool downs during FI boot camp. YOU ROCK! I am so lucky and grateful you picked me to be your coach in this season.

Stronger Bodies, Brains, & Mindsets

The Fitness Inspired Boot Camp theme for August was all about the invitation to savor, notice, and expand through this month's--workouts, healthy habits, food plan, and mindset shifts.

Another common thread this month, in people's personal coaching sessions, reflection in my own life, and in between sets or deep breaths during boot camp was around "challenging myself to lean into "being" rather than all my focus and much of my worth being from "doing." 

Whew, be careful what you want to grow in, is all I have to say on that (for now ;))!

Specific Shout-outs about some of our FI Boot Campers as we checked in with data from the beginning of the month to the end of August's Boot Camp program:
  • This Boot Camper came back from vacation and back into the fall school year schedule and was able to do even more advanced pushups more than 11 in a row (which is a milestone we have been training for) with back-to-back sets! She rocks a strong, lean, and heart healthy waistline. She noticed an excellent level of presence and mindfulness during workouts and during the day too.
  • This Fitness Inspirer had strong and beautiful advanced pushups and planks at our post-testing workout. She has excellent momentum with workouts with her showing up muscle and being present with great form. She also noticed that she feels stronger from this month's training.
  • This Boot Camper had phenomenal work with the advanced push up form, his range of motion, doing so many consecutive exercises well with two back-to-back sets. He was appreciative that he was able to ENJOY his time outside which was one of our challenges this month!
  • This Fitness Inspirer continues to prove and live out how our mindset can be her (and the rest of us too) greatest super power. Her phenomenal strength gains and persistent optimism to make her FI workout her "first chirp" which sets the tone for the rest of the day. Prioritizing the fitness inspired workout and coaching gives her immediate benefits to enjoy that day and long-term benefits she enjoys too!
  • This FI Boot camper showed up strong and determined, which is her signature way of being,  throughout the month. She had stellar form and strength in the lower body exercises we focused on this month. She noticed she was more mindful and present during workouts and beyond, which improves mood, focus, mindset, and brain benefits

  • Amazing job adapting when needed and integrating our 3 healthy habits into your daily life!
  • You stretched yourselves to be more present and enjoy your life
  • Having each other's back and showing up well for each other!

Celebrating Fired Up Momentum & Progress!

TO: July Fitness Inspired Boot Campers

It's all about progress from our baseline and showing up for WHO we want to be!!!! 

I'm so freaking proud of this group, the sense of community we create, and the amazing energy and health you are living out.

As a team we have been working on being able to do 11 military pushups. I'm so thrilled to report that this group of FI boot campers all have hit that goal!

Simultaneously, we have been working on our upper body mobility, because we want to be strong and mobile. I'm excited to report we are all in the "B" or better category in our upper body mobility test! This is one more piece of evidence that how we train and what we measure makes all the difference. 

As a group, we each rose to the challenge of improving our range of motion in the firework ab exercise (which is a nod to hip mobility too). Also, each of you (July boot campers) rocked between 40 and 50 consecutive firework abs during our post-testing workout.

The last result I want to highlight is that you are within the guidelines or so close to the waistline recommendation for our (heart and overall) health.

While we test and notice physical results and improvements we know and I hear from you that the physical improvements (amazing as they are and feel) pale in comparison to what being in FI boot camp does for your energy, mood, mindset, and overall sense of wellbeing.

Highlighting both a personal training client and a boot camper from June 2025

This personal training client wanted to workout on her schedule using some of her awesome tools (think all things peloton). She wanted to make some progress on some weight and waistline goals as well as be an awesome example for her kids. She wants to live and workout on her terms and has been consistently working out. Several weeks in she is hitting waistline goals and feeling so good! Just to give you an idea of one of her tangible results she has lost in the space between her chest and before her hips 5 inches. She has gained strength, lost weight, improved her form and reduced compensatory movements! Give it up for this rockstar mom, wife, and business owner!
This boot camper has been a consistent force of positive influence. Shout-out to this Fitness Inspired boot camper who rocked her strength exercises, Aced her mobility exercises, and rocked her movement daily. She chose to show-up for the plan this mont and feels so much more confident because of it. She says "This starts my day right. It sets my mind." Looking back since the start of this year she is down an inch in her waist and shaved a half an inch off her hips, which keeping off these inches are impressive. What is most impressive to me though, is what she gains and the energy she brings into her circle of influence! Give it up with for this woman who continues to be a leader in her family (3 amazing grown daughters), her community and business too!

The Amazing Group of May Fitness Inspirers ROCKED it! Let's highlight our May Top Achiever Here:

This person had perfect attendance and was at 12/12 of this month's live boot camp workouts!

She rocked movement for 30 minutes or more each day this month and got her reps in for mindfulness and mining for joy throughout this month.

She did more than 11 (24 to be exact) military pushups with amazing form which was the recommendation all FI boot campers are working towards on to progress or hit. Her waistline is lean and strong with her waist circumference meeting guidelines for heart health and disease prevention.

Saying yes to live workouts with her Fitness Inspired friends 3 mornings a week sets her up for success and feeling her best currently and training for the future too!

FI Boot Camp April (Growth) Results with Top Achiever feeling better, stronger, leaner

Our April 2025 Fitness Inspired Growth Goals were:

Fitness Inspirers, that you did! I hope you are proud of your show-up muscle, your insights and energy this month, as you rocked April Fitness Inspired Boot Camp out!

We celebrated your AMAZING attendance at Live FI Boot Camp workouts- Terri, Jim, Meg, Cindy, Iris, Addie. Props to those who logged FI library workouts-- Terri, Jim, Meg, Cindy, Iris, Beth, Kasey, Katie, Jamie

Shout-outs to ROCKING this month's plan by getting your workouts in 80% or more of the days in April-- Addie, Jamie, Terri, Jim, Iris, Kiersten. Also the intentional time in nature you continue to improve on and reap the benefits of that as well. Give it up to Addie, Terri, Jim, Cindy, Kiersten for spending significant time in nature 80% or better! As a group you all crushed getting vibrant, diverse plants each week.

At our April Results workout we gave shout-outs and stars for people who rocked their pushups, rocky abs, and getting stronger and more mobile this month!

This month's FI Boot Camp top achiever has lost and kept off 4 inches from her waistline measurements since she started in February. She has lost and kept off 4 lbs while simultaneously getting so much stronger with incredible form with her upper body and lower body exercises. She gets the reap the rewards of doing life more fitness inspired and feeling good. She also wins a massage gift certificate from the Perrysburg Hand & Stone, massage and facial spa. Give it up for Iris!

CONGRATS MARCH MADNESS TEAMS!!

Wow you rocked it!! The teams showed up well and we hit the gold standard of 30 minutes of intentional exercise each day. We were intentional about getting out in nature and eating more diverse plants in our diet. We made it fun and you ROCKED the live workouts we did.

I'm so proud of how you are getting your body happy in a new healthier set point. You are reaping the benefits of having a lean, strong waistline and keeping the inches off from what you have done so far this year.

You are gaining strength each month and the waistline inch reduction (and keeping it off) so far in 2025 is amazing. You are reporting more energy, better sleep at night, and being affirmed of the diverse nutrients you are consuming (just to name a few amazing results!)!

Congrats again, to each and every one of you! As a group your attendance, waistline (either maintenance from your improvement last month OR more positive shifts for you!), and fun-factor were all INCREDIBLE!!

We had a great time celebrating and recognizing your AMAZING accomplishments this month. Remember you can invite your friends to join you for both our designated "bring a friend to boot camp" and our results workout (someone who has been a source of support for you)!

100% of you said yes you ate more veggies and probiotic foods than you would have if you weren't doing Fitness Inspired Boot Camp. 


100% of you improved your core strength with our physical testing. You increased your core strength, stamina, and ability to perform at a higher level.
FITNESS INSPIRED SHOUT-OUTS:

​In May, we all knew, and proved, that we were MAYde for this!  It was awesome to see the great attendance numbers, and results that came with them.  In the end, for the month of May, there were two people who took home the Top Achiever status.  This couple lost a total of 13 inches, a combined 9 pounds, and between the two of them, improved their physical testing by 497%!

Ladies and gents, give it up to Karen L and Ray L, your top achievers for May!
