Healthy Little Habits (:

If you read past blogs, you know that we are focusing on four daily disciplines in the month of January. Another discipline that we are focusing on is adopting new healthy habits. Adding little challenging things to our daily routines that can help us live long and prosper(shout out Star Trek)! Here are some of our ideas to get you started:
  • Give your self a positive affirmation at least once a day 
  • Sit and stand up straighter 
  • Park far away 
  • Shop on a full stomach (less cravings and temptations!)
  • Use smaller plates and dishes 
  • Stretch for a few minutes each night and/or while making your morning coffee
  • Eat slower- enjoy your meals! 
  • Stand up and MOVE during commercials (great time for FI homework)
  • Keep electronics away during meals
  • Have healthy balanced meals instead of mindlessly snacking
  • In the office get up and talk to a coworker instead of sending an email
  • Always take the stairs
  • Get outside for 10 minutes each day
  • Make the switch to black coffee (enjoy becoming a coffee connoisseur)
