Four Ways to Help You Lose Weight and Keep it Off

Many weight-loss programs CAN help you lose weight in the short-term. Almost all of these programs have you cut weight by reducing your calories in some way even if it's masked by an unusual method. It is important to factor calories-in (food and drinks we eat) and calories-out (our workouts) into the equation; however, in order to:
  • lose weight
  • get more fit
  • get stronger
  • reduce inches
  • reduce body-fat 
  • or reach your personalized health & fitness goals
IN THE LONG-TERM... you need to make healthy living a lifestyle.  Not something you do for a short time, but something you create momentum in, improvement in, and build it to fit into your LIFE. All the Fitness Inspired programs & Club Fitness Inspired programs take a whole-person approach. We learn to Make Changes we Love to Live With. Every single program has opportunities for Fun, Accountability, & Results! When you are having fun and you have a supportive community of Fitness Inspirers to hold you accountable--you can't help but see GREAT Results!  

So let's take a small action step in these 4 areas to help you Lose Weight 
and Keep it Off {or insert your fitness goal here}. For best results and adherence, make sure you commit to the appropriate FI Action Step for a month straight.

1.Mind Set
"Once your mind set changes, everything on the outside will change along with it" -Steve Maraboli

​Fitness Inspired Action Step:
Strengthen your Mind-Set by writing out your goals and affirmations together daily. Also keeping a gratitude journal daily can be LIFE-CHANGING.  It surely has been for me. 

2.Show Up
"Eighty percent of success is showing up" -Woody Allen

Fitness Inspired Action:
Wake up & Workout BABY!  Motivating yourself to show up is {more than} half the battle so do whatever it takes to get up in the morning and grind.  Keep a streak tally--each day that you "show up" for your workout, give yourself a tally.  Make modifications to days, as needed, in order to Show Up daily.  Show Up and do a "Recovery Workout" when you have done several days in a row of a challenging workout for you...but still "Show Up." YOU got this!! In Club Fitness Inspired programs, our goal is to have Monday-Friday challenging 30 minute {online} workouts and then still show up on the weekends to be active whether that means simply moving or doing a recovery workout.

 3.Food Plan 
"Every living cell in your body is made from the food you eat. If you consistently eat junk food, you'll have a junk body." -Jeanette Jenkins

Fitness Inspired Action Step:
Start each day eating a healthy breakfast.  Check out this yummy FI banana pancake recipe.  

4.Tracking
"Think of your workouts as important meetings you've scheduled with yourself. Bosses don't cancel."

Fitness Inspired Action:
Track your health and fitness journey! Make sure to keep a record of your workouts, food plan, and Fitness Inspired homework. Tracking these important practices keeps you accountable and allows you to reach your goals.  Your method of tracking needs to work for you--but the important part is that you ARE actually tracking. We have multiple tracking and accountability strategies to help YOU Crush your Fitness Inspired goals!

Your success can and will begin with a single step.  What is a step in the right direction you are going to take?  Which of these 4 steps do you already have mastered, if any?  Let me know if you want me to go into further detail or develop a Club Fitness Inspired program on any of these best practices.  Even getting just ONE of these four down- you will create positive momentum in your life and it will improve other, seemingly unrelated areas of your life as well!
